Awsworth Parish Council allocate S19/S137 grants to Clubs and Organisations within the Parish each financial

year, as agreed whilst setting the precept. These include (but not exhaustive):  Awsworth and District

Produce Association, Awsworth Bowls Club, Awsworth Cricket Club, Awsworth Villa FC, 1st Awsworth

Brownies, 1st Awsworth Scouts, Amigo’s, ABC Youth Club, Awsworth Village Hall, St. Peters Churchyard and

Awsworth Primary School.

Any Club or Organisation that is allocated either an annual S137 or S19 grant above £500 must provide the

Clerk with the following information to be assessed by the Full Parish Council: -

Copy of the last financial year end accounts

Bank balance at the end of the last financial year

Up to date contact details for the Club / Organisation and its Committee (Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer

and Secretary)

If the Club / Organisation does not provide ALL of the above information by the deadline of 31st May, the

grant for that financial year will be renounced.

If the Club / Organisation’s year end bank balance is £15,000 or above, and the funds are not allocated for a

specific project / purchase (this must be informed when providing the required information), the grant for

that financial year will be renounced.

Any other grants required by any Club / Organisation within the Parish, throughout the financial year, must

apply following the Awsworth Parish Council Grant Application Process.
